Michele is a sculptor and she lives and works in Buckinghamshire.
She studied Art at North Oxfordshire College and at the University of Hertfordshire. She attended Oxford Brooks University to complete her PGCE and worked at Aylesbury High School as an Art teacher until she retired two years ago.
She uses a wide range of materials to create her sculptures including clay, metal, cement and bronze resin. The main focus of her work is the human figure and the human face through which she explores what it is to be human. She also loves the natural world and enjoys modelling wildlife subjects.
Michele has exhibited widely across the UK and has work in many private collections.
She has recently won the ‘Swire Ridgeway Sculpture Prize’ and the ‘Overall Swire Ridgeway Arts Prize 2019’.
